How to upload pictures to your home swap advert

First of all you need some pictures! Some advice on this can be found here.  Once you have taken some pictures then you can add them to your advert. 

Photos can be up to 2MB in size.

When setting up a new advert

The advert set up allows you to attach up to 5 pictures to your advert.  To set up a new home swop advert after logging in select Home Swap adverts from the top menu and then select new advert.  Complete the details until you reach the bottom section regarding photos.

Click on browse, find the picture and then when finished it will be uploaded to the advert.

Updating an existing advert

Find your advert by selecting Home Swap adverts from the top menu and then select 'my adverts' or click on the link below.

Click on update at the top of the advert just under the title and then scroll down to the photos section.  Click browse, find your photo.  Repeat as necessary and then finally click save.

Size constraints

Photos can be up to 2MB in size.  If the files are too big you will receive an error message.

In this event reduce the size of your photos.  A size of 400 x 300 pixels is large enough for the site and easily fits within its size contraints.

To reduce the size of the photos use an editor such as Paint (FREE) - http://www.getpaint.net/

 In Paint open the file, select the image menu and resize.  Check that maintain aspect ratio is checked and then change one of the size variables.  Click OK and then save the file.

Then try to upload again.
